Uveitis is an inflammatory eye disease that can lead to permanent vision loss if not carefully managed. Its progression is often difficult to predict, making long-term control especially challenging.
I developed a series of creative concepts to communicate the hidden and recurring nature of uveitis. Each approach visualizes the idea that the disease can remain out of sight for long periods, only to return unexpectedly and cause lasting damage.
The work explores this insight through a range of visual expressions. Some concepts use everyday environments disrupted by unseen threats, while others rely on metaphor and illustration to represent remission, setbacks, and the constant risk beneath the surface. Together, they reinforce the need for vigilance and ongoing care, even when symptoms appear controlled.
By presenting the disease through multiple creative lenses, the campaign demonstrates how uveitis can be both invisible and relentless, underscoring the importance of sustained management to help protect long-term vision.
